Munkácsy Mihály Awarded visual artist, applied artist, member of the Széchenyi Academy of Literature and Art (1994).
„I don’t have an artistic credo. I have works which are different from others - I think it’s already something. I have a firm opinion of many phenomena of life. Of course they are very different from others' views because it’s determined by my own personality. Despite differences of opinions there are certain points where the real but different values can give a lot to each other - thereby to everyone. You need to approach the artwork without prejudice, be open to receiving it and then it will do its trick which has a real quality.
I don’t want to talk about the poor and plain eyewash even though it’s increasing in number, thrives - probably with the exponent numeric growth. The judgment is not growing exponentially. But I believe that it’s going to happen. You can not create a masterpiece easily, effortlessly. All the works are suggested as it has in it. What the artist didn’t put in it can only make you believe for a while.”
