As a sculptor, he is interested in rethinking classical techniques. In his creative method he combines the opposing processes of carving and patterning, creating a unique balance between construction and dismantling. He currently works mainly with wood, whose organic character is closely interwoven with the formal and conceptual layers of his work.
His work explores the relationship between the whole and the part, the question of completion and incompleteness, and the dilemma of the passage and suspension of time. His sculptures follow an abstract formal world, but are deeply rooted in personal and shared experiences. For him, abstraction is not the opposite of realism, but another way of looking at things - a means to shed new light on the world around us.
